Assoc. Prof. Dr. HASAN ÖZYAPICI is a faculty member in the Department of Business Administration at Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU). His academic roles include supervising PhD and Master's theses, with a focus on financial management, accounting systems, and corporate finance. He holds a PhD in Business Administration from Çukurova University (2008–2012), an MA in Accounting and Finance from Marmara University (2006–2008), and a BA in Business Administration from Çukurova University (2002–2006).
His research interests revolve around financial performance analysis, cost management in tourism and healthcare sectors, and the impact of digital transformation on banking. Notable supervised theses include studies on cash holdings, ABC/TDABC systems in service sectors, and the effects of capital intensity on accounting policies. He is currently advising ongoing research on green accounting in sustainable management and analytical budgeting approaches in maritime sectors.
Prof. Özyapici’s work also addresses policy uncertainty, working capital management, and cross-country financial ratio analysis in industries like automotive and aviation.
