H. Bernard Hall is Assistant Professor of Urban Teacher Education at Drexel University. His research examines hip-hop pedagogy, social justice education, and culturally responsive teaching practices. Education includes a PhD from Temple University and degrees from the University of Michigan.
Research explores hip-hop as critical literacy tool, spoken word poetry as pedagogical practice, and culturally sustaining frameworks in urban classrooms.
