Prof. Dr. Günter Helmchen is a Professor at the Institute of Organic Chemistry, University of Heidelberg. His research focuses on asymmetric catalysis, chiral ligands, organic synthesis methods, and stereoselective synthesis of bioactive compounds. He has supervised over 80 doctoral and master's students and maintains active collaborations across Europe.
