Prof. Gül Zerze is an Assistant Professor in the William A. Brookshire Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the University of Houston (Cullen College of Engineering). She leads a 100% computational lab focused on Computational Molecular Science, developing physics-based and data-driven platforms to design novel materials, drugs, and diagnostics. Her work integrates molecular simulations, machine learning, and experimental insights to address challenges in human health.
Education:
- B.S. and M.S. in Chemical Engineering (Middle East Technical University, Turkey)
- Ph.D. in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering (Lehigh University, 2017)
- Postdoctoral Researcher at Princeton University (2017–2021)
