Dr. Gül Aktürk Hauser is an Assistant Professor in Heritage Studies at Leiden University's Faculty of Archaeology, affiliated with the Archaeological Heritage Management department. Her research focuses on climate change impacts on cultural heritage, disaster risk management, and vernacular heritage preservation, particularly in Turkey. She holds a PhD from TU Delft (2023) and an MSc in Architectural Conservation from the University of Edinburgh (2012-2013).
