Gérard Beaudet

Gérard Beaudet is a Full Professor at the School of Urban Planning and Landscape Architecture within the Faculty of Environmental Design at the University of Montreal. His research focuses on urban heritage, regeneration, morphology, metropolitan planning, regional development, mobility, and tourism planning. He co-directs the Observatory of Sustainable Mobility affiliated with the Institute of Urban Planning.

Education includes a Master's in Urban Planning (1980) and Bachelor's in Architecture (1977) from the University of Montreal. Previously, he worked as a senior project manager at Société technique d'aménagement régional, completing over 200 studies in urban planning and heritage conservation.
