Gábor Horváth is a Lecturer at the University of Pécs, affiliated with the Janus Pannonius College of Economics and the Department of Finance and Accounting. He holds a certified public accountant qualification and has extensive experience in finance, accounting, and controlling across public and private sectors.
- Educational background: Undergraduate in Finance and Accounting (2011), Master's in Finance (2017), Fintech Management Specialist Economist (2022), Company Valuation Specialist (2025).
His research focuses on sustainability expectations in the corporate sector, financial evaluation of non-material assets (e.g., data assets), and ESG disclosure methodologies. Teaching areas include accounting, financial planning, and IT applications like Excel and PowerBI.
Recent publications examine ESG internationalization and life cycle analysis of banking sector ESG performance. He is part of the CareerPoint Center of Excellence in Economics and contributes to financial education through vocational training and higher education programs.
