Gyöngyi Bujdosó serves as an Associate Professor at the Department of Computer Science within the Faculty of Informatics at the University of Debrecen. Her institutional affiliation spans multiple research groups and international initiatives focused on educational technology and gender equality in informatics.
Her research centers on Human-Computer Interaction with specialized focus on privacy awareness and disruptive educational technologies. She actively investigates VR, AR, MR, and eye-tracking applications in learning environments while developing electronic teaching methodologies. Her work bridges theoretical computer science with practical educational implementations.
Bujdosó contributes significantly to gender balance initiatives through her role in COST Action CA19122 and the Minerva Informatics Equality Award Committee. She participates in major research projects including MTA-DE Early Science Learning (2022-2026) and European Network for Gender Balance in Informatics (2019-2025).
As a supervisor, she guides PhD student Gusman Deddy while maintaining active membership in professional organizations including IEEE, ACM, ISACA Budapest Chapter, and Hungarian Women in Science (NaTE). Her departmental responsibilities include teaching and research leadership within the Faculty of Informatics building at Kassai út 26, Debrecen.
