Gwynne Day Brown

Dr. Brown specializes in molecular genetics of host/parasite relationships, bridging marine biology and immunology. Her teaching portfolio includes Immunology, Molecular Cell Biology, Marine Biology, and Oceanography, emphasizing genetic mechanisms in biological interactions. This research integrates molecular techniques with ecological contexts to explore evolutionary adaptations in host-parasite systems.

As Director of Pre-Health Advising, she leads the Pre-Med and Pre-Health Program, providing comprehensive guidance for students pursuing medical and health professional careers.
