Gwen Brekelmans

Gwen Brekelmans is a Senior Lecturer in Psychology and Advanced Research Methods at Queen Mary University of London's School of Biological and Behavioural Sciences. She serves as Programme Director for the MSc Psychology (Conversion) and Deputy Director of Teaching and Learning in Psychology. Her research focuses on second language acquisition, particularly speech perception/production in adults and children, and pedagogical strategies for teaching research methods and academic writing. She actively promotes equality and diversity in higher education through initiatives like her involvement with QMUL CAISE.
