Dr. Guy Moors is an Assistant Professor at Tilburg University in the Tilburg School of Social and Behavioral Sciences, Department of Methodology and Statistics. His academic work focuses on methodological issues in social science research, particularly in survey methodology and measurement.
Dr. Moors' research interests include:

He has also made significant contributions to understanding how cultural contexts influence the interpretation of survey items, identifying distinct cultural clusters based on how societies assign meaning to family value and gender role items.
Dr. Moors has contributed 61 research outputs between 2000 and 2025, demonstrating sustained scholarly activity in methodology. His publications appear in journals such as Royal Society Open Science, Quality & Quantity, Sociological Methods & Research, and Survey Research Methods. His most recent work includes a comprehensive review of quality standards in qualitative research methodology that analyzed 111 methodological papers to identify shared norms and practices in the field.
