Guy Jackson is a Vice Chancellor's Fellow (Assistant Professor) at Northumbria University's Department of Social Sciences. His research focuses on human-environmental relations, climate change loss and damage, and disaster vulnerability. He holds a PhD in Human Geography from The University of Queensland (2020) and completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship at Lund University Centre for Sustainability Studies (LUCSUS). His current work examines environmental politics in the UK and beyond, with fieldwork in East Anglia, Australia, and the Pacific.
