Guy Hanke is a Senior Lecturer in Plant Cell and Molecular Biology at Queen Mary University of London. His research examines photosynthetic electron transfer mechanisms using biochemical and biophysical approaches.
Current projects investigate ferredoxin-NADP(H) oxidoreductase interactions, chloroplast redox regulation, and engineering photosynthetic efficiency under stress conditions. Funded by BBSRC, his work connects fundamental photosynthesis research with crop improvement strategies.
