Guy Bloch

Prof. Guy Bloch is a Professor of Biology at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, affiliated with the Alexander Silberman Institute of Life Sciences and the Department of Ecology, Evolution & Behavior. He holds roles at the Federmann Center for the Study of Rationality and the Jerusalem Brain Community. His research focuses on the evolution and mechanisms underlying social behavior in bees, integrating molecular, physiological, and social analyses. Key areas include circadian rhythms, juvenile hormone signaling, RNA editing, and body size regulation in social insects.
