Dr. Gus Cheng Zhang is a Lecturer in Power Electronics at the EEE - Academic & Research department. He holds a B.Eng. (First Class Hons.) from City University of Hong Kong (2012) and a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Hong Kong (2016). His research focuses on high-frequency power converters, wireless power transfer, and their applications in robotics and EV battery systems. He has received awards for both research and teaching, including the IEEE Prize Paper (2024) and Lecturer of the Year (2021).
