Guodong Jiang serves as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Applied Physics at Aalto University, Finland, where he contributes to the Quantum Dynamics research group.
His research focuses on condensed matter physics, particularly superconductivity mechanisms in flat band systems and multiorbital materials. He investigates geometric superfluid weight properties and critical temperature enhancement phenomena, with emphasis on singular flat bands and composite band structures that enable high-temperature superconductivity.
Recent publications demonstrate theoretical advances in understanding superfluid weight cross-overs and geometric contributions to superconductivity, published in leading journals including PNAS and Physical Review B.
As part of the Quantum Dynamics group, Dr. Jiang engages in collaborative research exploring quantum phenomena in novel materials, with applications for next-generation superconducting technologies.
