Gunta Bēta is an Assistant Professor at Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) Liepāja Branch, affiliated with the Faculty of Public Health and Social Wellbeing and the Department of Nursing and Midwifery. With over 40 years of experience in nursing and healthcare education, she has held leadership roles such as Head of Nursing Study Department since 2011 and previously served as Head of Study/Nursing Departments at Medical School of Liepaja. Her academic journey includes a PhD candidacy in nurses' professional proficiency in patient education at Liepāja University and degrees in out-patient nursing, education, and social work.
