Dominique Guillemaud Mueller is a Research Fellow in Nuclear Physics at the University of Paris-Sud, France. He held leadership roles including Director of the Institut de Physique Nucléaire d'Orsay (2002–2010) and Scientific Deputy Director of IN2P3/CNRS for Nuclear Physics (2011–2016). His research focuses on exotic nuclei far from stability, radioactive beams, and shell closure phenomena around magic numbers. He received prestigious awards including the JINR Dubna Prize (1993), Chevalier de la Légion d'honneur (2009), and the Flerov Prize (2010).
Education: PhD in Nuclear Physics from University Paris 7 (1982), Habilitation from University of Caen (1985). Professional highlights include leading the SPIRAL2 project design and serving on committees for GANIL, NuPECC, and EURISOL. His work spans experimental and theoretical nuclear physics with a focus on neutron-rich isotopes and reaction mechanisms.
