Guillem Escorihuela Carbonell

Guillem Escorihuela Carbonell is a Lecturer at the Universitat de València, affiliated with the Faculty of Teacher Training and the Department of Didactics of Musical Expression. He is a member of the iMUSED Investigating Music Education research group.

• Education: Doctor by the Universitat de València (2017) with thesis on flute teaching methods in Spanish higher music centers, supervised by Dr. Ana María Botella Nicolás.

His research focuses on Music Education, Flute Pedagogy, and the integration of ICT in Musical Assessment. Recent work explores performative artistic practices, Renaissance flute consorts, and virtual teaching quality metrics. Articles span 2014–2025, showing sustained research on Instrumental Didactics, Hybrid Learning Models, and Historical Performance Analysis.

iMUSED research group involvement highlights collaborative projects in music education reform, particularly in the Valencian Community. His 2021–2025 publications analyze flute teaching evolution, jazz trombone pedagogy, and pandemic impacts on musical societies.
