معرفی
Guillaume A Rousselet is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Psychology & Neuroscience at the University of Glasgow. He holds a PhD in Cognitive Science from the University of Toulouse and completed postdoctoral research at McMaster University. His research focuses on visual processing, statistical methods for behavioral and EEG data, and individual differences. Key interests include EEG analysis techniques, robust statistical methods, and the neural mechanisms underlying face and object recognition.
Education: BSc Biology & Ecology (Amiens, 1997); MSc Cognitive Science (Marseille, 1999); PhD Cognitive Science (Toulouse, 2003). Postdoctoral positions at McMaster University (2003–2006) before joining Glasgow in 2006.
Research emphasizes methodological advancements, including cluster-based permutation tests, bootstrap techniques, and EEG/ERP analysis tools like LIMO EEG. Recent work addresses data sharing practices, replicability, and age-related delays in neural processing. He has contributed to over 60 peer-reviewed articles and multiple grants from organizations such as the MRC, BBSRC, and ESRC.
Grants include studies on aging and facial emotion processing, spinal cord injury mechanisms, and statistical modeling in neuroscience. Editorial roles include positions at the European Journal of Neuroscience and Brain and Neuroscience Advances.
