Guillaume Daudin is a Professor of Economics at Paris-Dauphine University, affiliated with the Laboratory of Economics at Dauphine - Development, Institutions and Globalization Analysis (LEDa-DIAL) since 2012. His academic career spans multiple prestigious institutions including HEC, Cambridge, Stanford, OFCE, Edinburgh, Lille-I and the Banque de France, establishing him as a prominent figure in economic history and international trade research.
Daudin's research focuses on modern economic history and commercial globalization, with particular expertise in 18th century French trade patterns. His work bridges historical analysis with contemporary economic issues, examining topics such as the Balance of Trade office in the 18th century, current value-added trade models, and the relationship between internal migration and fertility rates in France.
