معرفی
Guillaume Bussiere is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry at the University of British Columbia (UBC) within the Faculty of Science. His work focuses on integrating hands-on experimental techniques with theoretical modeling to enhance physical chemistry education.
- Teaches Physical Chemistry (CHEM 205) and advanced laboratory courses (CHEM 315/325/335/345, CHEM 445)
- Develops experiments using numerical models to simulate experimental data
Current research projects include REMPI spectroscopy, development of mass spectrometry experiments, and teaching-focused initiatives involving undergraduate research opportunities (RLE) and summer projects. His work spans laboratory design, spectroscopy methods, and chemical education innovation.
His recent publications (2000-2014) emphasize molecular dynamics, spectroscopy techniques, and coordination chemistry. Key subfields include mass spectrometry education, surface reaction kinetics, luminescence spectroscopy, and computational modeling of electronic states.
