Guilherme Costa is a Lecturer in Endothelial Biology at Queen’s University Belfast, UK, affiliated with the School of Medicine, Dentistry and Biomedical Sciences and the Wellcome Wolfson Institute for Experimental Medicine. His research focuses on spatial regulation of gene expression in endothelial cells, particularly mRNA localization and local protein synthesis in angiogenesis. He holds a PhD in Medical Sciences from the University of Manchester (2011) and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
Research Interests:
- RNA localization and local protein synthesis in endothelial cells
