Professor Guglielmo Lulli is a Professor in Network Analytics at the Management Science Department of Lancaster University Management School (LUMS). He serves as Director of NATCOR and is a mentor/reviewer in Lancaster's ATLAS Programme. Previously, he was an Assistant Professor at the University of Milano-Bicocca and held visiting roles at institutions like MIT, University of Arizona, and University of Maryland. He is a Fulbright Fellow (2007) and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (2017).
Research Interests: His work focuses on Operational Research, including air traffic flow management, dynamic transportation planning, energy markets, and optimization under uncertainty. He explores practical applications in logistics, stochastic programming, and network challenges.
Publications & Projects: Recent publications address multi-aircraft trajectory planning, airspace configuration, and energy optimization. He leads projects like Horizon Europe's SMARTS initiative and OptiFrame. His work emphasizes robust optimization and collaborative systems in transportation.
