Guenther Hochhaus is a Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutics at the University of Florida's College of Pharmacy. His research focuses on pharmacokinetic-pharmacodynamic relationships of anti-asthma drugs and rational drug delivery design, particularly through inhalation routes. Current work explores Pharmacometrics and in vitro/in vivo correlations for regulatory pathways of generic inhalation drugs.
He teaches pharmacokinetics to PhD and PharmD students and has received multiple awards including the Charles G. Thiel Award for respiratory drug delivery research (2022) and mentoring honors from the American College of Clinical Pharmacology (2019). His research advancements streamline inhalation drug development processes.
