Guangyu Cao

Guangyu Cao is a Professor at the Department of Energy and Process Engineering, Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), affiliated with the Faculty of Engineering. He holds a PhD from Helsinki University of Technology (2009) and previously worked as a senior scientist at VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland (2009–2014).

His research focuses on ventilation systems in healthcare settings, indoor airflow dynamics, thermal comfort, and built environment quality. He has contributed to projects like the EU Marie Curie HumanIC (2024–2027) and the iclimabuilt initiative (2021–2025).
