Grégoire Muller

Grégoire Muller is a doctoral researcher at the University of Strasbourg, affiliated with the Institute of Chemistry and Processes for Energy, Environment and Health (ICPEES) and its Polymer Engineering Department (BioTeam). His work focuses on developing sustainable biobased insulation materials as alternatives to conventional polyurethane foams, addressing health risks from isocyanates and recyclability challenges.

• Education: Engineering studies at ENSMAC Bordeaux INP (2020–2023); current PhD at University of Strasbourg (since 2024).

Research interests include:

• Biobased polymers
• Non-isocyanate chemical synthesis
• Thermal insulation materials
• Enhanced recyclability of thermosetting networks

Scientific contributions focus on polymer flexibility analysis using pyrene excimer formation and sustainable material design, funded through the CIFRE fellowship by SOPREMA FRANCE.
