معرفی
Grigory Rogachev is a Professor at the Department of Physics and Astronomy and the Cyclotron Institute at Texas A&M University. His research focuses on low-energy experimental nuclear physics and nuclear astrophysics, particularly on the structure of exotic neutron-rich and neutron-deficient isotopes, clustering phenomena in nuclei, and mechanisms of nuclear reactions relevant to nucleosynthesis and stellar energy generation.
- Education:
- MS in Experimental Nuclear Physics (1996), Moscow Engineering Physics Institute
- PhD (1999), National Research Center "Kurchatov Institute"
- Publications:
His recent work spans proton-halo fusion cross sections, α-cluster resonance studies, and detector development (e.g., TexAT). Articles highlight Hoyle state decay, 8B fusion dynamics, and α-cluster structures in F19.
- Awards:
- Kurchatov Prize (1998)
- Collaborations:
Active in the TexAT detector project and partnerships with the Cyclotron Institute and Nuclear Solutions Institute at Texas A&M.
