Grigorios Kasapidis

Dr. Grigorios Kasapidis is a Lecturer in the Operations and Supply Chain Management group at the University of Liverpool Management School (ULMS). He holds a Diploma in Chemical Engineering and an MSc in Computational Mechanics (with distinction) from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA).

His research focuses on advanced optimization techniques, including meta-heuristics, math-heuristics, and mathematical programming, applied to complex combinatorial problems in manufacturing, logistics, and supply chains. He actively collaborates with industry to develop data-driven solutions, leveraging machine learning and GPU computing for algorithm efficiency. Key projects include Horizon2020-funded research.
