Gretchen Hendrickson serves as Professor and Chair of Social & Behavioral Sciences within the School of Arts & Sciences at Columbia College. She holds a Ph.D. in Quantitative Psychology from the University of Missouri and teaches diverse psychology courses including General Psychology, Experimental Psychology, and Psychological Testing and Measurement.
Her educational qualifications are:

- M.A. from Ball State University
- M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Missouri
As a quantitative psychologist trained in cognition, social processes, and fMRI techniques, Dr. Hendrickson specializes in statistical application to real-world data. Her research interests span humor analysis, measures of association for nominal/ordinal data, hierarchical linear model limitations, priming effects, extra sensory perception, and mathematical concept learning. She emphasizes defendable statistical methodologies across all research contexts.
Dr. Hendrickson mentors students through Psychology Internship (PSYC 399) and Advanced Psychology Internship (PSYC 499) courses. Her consulting work involves advanced statistical techniques including Multilevel Modeling, Structural Equation Modeling, and Factor Analysis, with rigorous evaluation of analytical strengths and data limitations.
