Judge Greta Stirling Friedman serves as an Adjunct Professor of Law at Valparaiso University Law School while actively presiding as a LaPorte County Superior Court Judge. She holds a B.A. from Bates College and a J.D. from Valparaiso University Law School (1984). Her legal career spans private practice, public service in elder law through the Legal Services Program of Northern Indiana, and seven years as a court magistrate.
Her professional focus includes criminal justice reform, having pioneered LaPorte County's Problem-Solving (Drugs/DUI) Court and completing specialized judicial training at the National Judicial College.
