Gregory Wilson

Dr. Gregory Wilson is a Principal Research Scientist at CSIRO and Conjoint Professor at the University of Newcastle's School of Engineering. He is an internationally recognized expert in solution-processed thin-film photovoltaics with over 22 years of research experience. His academic qualifications include a PhD and BSc (Hons) from Victoria University.

Professor Wilson's research focuses on advanced photovoltaics, particularly perovskite solar cells, nanostructured metal oxides, and photoelectrochemical systems. His work spans materials chemistry, device engineering, and technology commercialization, with significant contributions to heterosupramolecular chemistry and photovoltaic device stability.

His publication record demonstrates a strong focus on perovskite optoelectronics, spanning materials development, device architecture, stability optimization, and manufacturing processes. Recent work explores novel transport materials, interfacial engineering, and tandem cell configurations for next-generation photovoltaics.
