Dr. Gregory V. Larnell is an Associate Professor in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), College of Education. He specializes in mathematics education, focusing on equity, urban education, and critical race theory. His research examines the intersection of race, policy, and mathematics learning experiences, particularly for Black students. He teaches courses such as STEM, Education, and Society, and has served on national committees including the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics Research Committee.
