Gregory R. Crane is a Professor and Winnick Family Chair in Technology and Entrepreneurship at Tufts University's Department of Classical Studies, serving as its Chair from 2009 to 2012. He also holds an Adjunct Professorship in Computer Science (since 2010) and has been a Professor of Classics since 1998. Previously, he taught at Harvard University (1985–1993). He is the Editor-in-Chief of the Perseus Project, a groundbreaking digital humanities initiative.
