Dr Gregory Price serves as an Adjunct Senior Research Fellow in the Department of Psychiatry at the UWA Medical School, The University of Western Australia. His research focuses on neuropsychiatric interventions, particularly exploring transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), electroencephalography (EEG), and their clinical applications in treating depression and understanding neural connectivity. His work contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals related to good health and well-being.
Key research interests include:
- Neural connectivity and functional brain networks
- Advanced TMS protocols for mental health
- EEG-based biomarker development
- Neurotechnology integration in clinical psychiatry
Recent publications (2022) highlight clinical updates on RTMS-EEG integration, novel depression treatment protocols, and connectome-targeted interventions. Earlier work (2017) demonstrated EEG classification methods for schizophrenia using fuzzy inference systems.
Collaborations involve multidisciplinary teams addressing neurophysiological mechanisms and translational neuroscience. He contributed to a dataset on dexamphetamine's effects on EEG functional connectivity (2015).
