Gregory L. Davies is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Theoretical & Computational Seismology group at Princeton University, focusing on Geophysics. He joined the group in December 2018.
Education: Gregory holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Princeton University.
Research Interests: His work centers on the application of ultrasound as a characterization tool for battery energy storage systems. He investigates ultrasound imaging techniques and employs geoscientific methods like full waveform inversion at the mm-scale. Davies also develops computational algorithms to interface experimental ultrasonic data and create models for ultrasonic hardware, including transducers and material characterization.
