Dr. Gregory Chass is a Reader in Computational Chemistry at Queen Mary University of London's School of Physical and Chemical Sciences. He leads the Centre for Chemical Research and is part of the Centre for Experimental and Applied Physics. His academic roles include Director of Graduate Studies.
His research focuses on computational chemistry and materials science, with emphases on carbon capture utilization, cementitious materials, disordered functional materials, and bioactive compounds like cannabinoids. He explores topics such as neutron scattering, techno-economic analyses, and industrial waste repurposing.

Advising & Grants: Supervises PhD student Mustafa Mahmoud. His research is supported by grants totaling over £700k.
Labs/Teams: Active in the Centre for Chemical Research and collaborates with experimental physics teams.
