Dr. Gregory Anthony Luhan is the Ward V. Wells Endowed Professor of Architecture and Department Head at Texas A&M University's College of Architecture. He also directs the CRS Center. His work bridges design, digital technologies, critical theory, pedagogy, and industry collaboration. Previously, he held the John Russell Groves Endowed Professorship at the University of Kentucky and served as a University Research Professor at the Lewis Honors College.
Education includes a Ph.D. in Architecture (Texas A&M, 2016), M.Arch. (Princeton, 1998), and B.Arch. (Virginia Tech, 1991). He is a registered architect in New York, Kentucky, and Texas.
Research focuses on co-created learning in design studios, digital fabrication, and interdisciplinary practice. His work is funded by NSF, NEA, DOE, and industry partners. Awards include the 2020 Tau Sigma Delta Silver Medal and best paper recognitions at CAADRIA and SIGraDi.
His professional practice includes award-winning projects with firms like Agrest & Gandelsonas and Eisenman Architects. He founded his own firm and has held leadership roles in academic-industry initiatives.
