Gregg L. Michel is Professor and Assistant Department Chair in the Department of History at the University of Texas at San Antonio's College of Liberal and Fine Arts. He holds a B.A. from the University of Chicago and M.A./Ph.D. degrees from the University of Virginia. His research examines social change movements in post-WWII America, with specialization in the Civil Rights Movement, Southern history, and African-American history.
