Gregg Arthur is Aquaculture Manager and Project Director for Shell-volution at UHI Shetland Aquaculture Research Network with 25+ years' experience. He leads transformative initiatives in mussel farming through environmental monitoring and hatchery innovation. His £4.4M Shell-volution project enhances wild spat recruitment for sustainable shellfish production.

Research spans phytoplankton monitoring, HAB prediction tools, and finfish/shellfish husbandry. Previous roles include commercial cod hatchery management and knowledge exchange at UHI Aquaculture Hub.
