Greg Sayadian is an Assistant Professor of Cybersecurity and Chair of Studies in Cybersecurity at Montreat College's Faculty of Technology and Human Industry. He joined Montreat in 2018 after over 20 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, including roles at AOL, UUNET, and the FAA. His technical expertise spans security engineering, network security, incident response, identity and access management, and DevOps practices.
- B.S. in Civil Engineering from West Virginia University
- M.S. in Computer and Communications Security from The George Washington University
Prof. Sayadian specializes in building holistic cybersecurity postures through industry maturity models, government compliance frameworks, and agile CI/CD processes. Beyond academics, he actively participates in ministry roles, including deacon, trustee, and FCA board member, while pursuing hobbies like fly-fishing, hiking, and missions outreach.
