Prof Greg Foliente is an Enterprise Professor at the University of Melbourne's Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology. He also serves as President/Board Chair of the International Initiative for a Sustainable Built Environment (iiSBE), and holds a Distinguished Visiting Professorship at De La Salle University (Manila) under the Philippine Balik Scientist Program. Recognized globally, he has received the James Croes Medal (ASCE), SWST George Marra Award, and is ranked in Stanford's top 2% scientists. His research focuses on urban systems science, sustainability assessment, and resilience engineering, integrating engineering, risk science, and socio-technical transitions. He has authored over 200 papers, 4 books, and serves on editorial boards of Discover Cities and Buildings.

Recent publications focus on urban social dynamics, sustainable logistics, and energy master planning.
