Greg F. Naterer is the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science and a Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Memorial University of Newfoundland. He leads transformative academic programs, overseeing significant growth in enrollment, infrastructure, and interdisciplinary initiatives. His national and international leadership roles include Chair of the National Council of Deans of Engineering and Applied Science (NCDEAS) and NSERC's Discovery Grant Committee (Mechanical Engineering).
Education: B. Math., MASc., PhD (Mechanical Engineering, University of Waterloo, 1995).
Research focuses on energy systems, heat transfer, and multiphase flows, with notable contributions to hydrogen energy via the world's first large-scale Cu-Cl cycle for thermochemical water splitting. He has authored three books, six patents, and over 8,000 citations,曾获 Tier 1 Canada Research Chair in Advanced Energy Systems.
