Dr. Greg Creek is a Senior Lecturer and Program Lead for the Bachelor of Arts (Fine Art) at RMIT University's School of Art, part of the College of Design, Society and Environment. His academic roles include teaching drawing and leading programs in Hong Kong. Creek's research focuses on visual arts, art theory, and political narratives in art, with a practice blending allegory, satire, and socio-political critique through painting and drawing.
His exhibitions span over three decades, with notable shows at Sarah Scout Gallery, Shepparton Art Museum, and international venues like Vienna's Kunstraumarcade. Awards include the 2022 Len Fox Painting Prize and the Doug Moran National Portrait Prize (1996). Creek’s work often explores personal and public histories, using fragmented narratives and abstract techniques.
