Grayson Sipe

Grayson Sipe is an Assistant Professor of Biology at Pennsylvania State University's Eberly College of Science. His research integrates molecular and cellular mechanisms of brain state shifts, focusing on both neuronal and glial perspectives, with applications to stress disorders and addiction. He is affiliated with the Huck Institutes of the Life Sciences and the Institute for Computational and Data Sciences.

• Education: B.S. in Neuroscience from Lafayette College; Ph.D. in Neurobiology & Anatomy from University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry

His lab employs in vivo microscopy in mice to study sensory encoding, autonomic regulation, and whole-body state interactions. Research emphasizes pathophysiological mechanisms in alcohol abuse development and stress-related disorders.
