University of Arkansas for Medical Sciencesمعرفی
Graham Strub, MD, PhD is a physician-scientist practicing pediatric Otolaryngology at Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock and Arkansas Children’s Northwest in Springdale. Holding dual clinical and research roles, he specializes in ear, nose and throat disorders while leading translational investigations that bridge molecular biology and pediatric surgical care.
His research centers on developing molecular-biology tools to guide surgical decision-making. Specifically, he studies how microRNAs (miRNAs) operate within the vascular endothelium of vascular anomalies and how their dysregulated expression drives aberrant angiogenesis and vasculogenesis. These efforts aim to identify novel circulating miRNA biomarkers for diagnosis and treatment monitoring and to engineer deliverable “antagomirs” as targeted molecular therapies for children with complex vascular conditions.
Dr. Strub is consistently praised by families for clear communication, compassion, and collaborative decision-making, earning an average patient-satisfaction rating of 4.7 out of 5.
