Graham Henshaw is a Clinical Associate Professor at the Raymond A. Mason School of Business and Executive Director of the Alan B. Miller Entrepreneurship Center at William & Mary. He previously served as Director of Venture Development at New Richmond Ventures, where he led an early-stage accelerator (Feed & Seed) and supported startups in achieving product-market fit. His career spans entrepreneurship, product development, and strategic consulting with Fortune 500 firms like General Electric and Toyota.
Education: M.S. and B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (with a minor in Industrial Design) from Virginia Polytechnic Institute.
Research interests focus on business model innovation, socially-driven entrepreneurship, and design thinking methodologies. He teaches Entrepreneurship and Innovation & Design at William & Mary since 2012. His work emphasizes translating consumer insights into actionable strategies for startups and established organizations.
Key contributions include founding Active Innovation Group (acquired in 2010) and launching the Feed & Seed accelerator, now part of Lighthouse Labs. He actively bridges academic research with practical industry applications through the Alan B. Miller Entrepreneurship Center.
