Graciela Krikun is a Research Scientist at Yale University’s Yale School of Medicine, Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology & Reproductive Sciences. She holds a PhD from Mount Sinai School of Medicine (1984). Her research focuses on endometrial angiogenesis, reproductive immunology, and endometrial stem cell biology. She developed the ICON3 molecule for endometriosis treatment, collaborates with Dr. Gil Mor on maternal innate immunity during implantation, and studies stem cell niches with Dr. Hugh Taylor. Her work integrates molecular mechanisms of hormonal regulation, immunotherapy, and tissue regeneration.
Key collaborations include projects with Charles Lockwood, Hugh Taylor, and Ramanaiah Mamillapalli. NIH grants supported her earlier work on matrix metalloproteinase regulation in endometrial tissues. Research spans from preclinical models to clinical translation, addressing conditions like endometriosis and placental dysfunction.
