Grace A. Telesco

Grace A. Telesco is an Associate Professor in Justice & Human Services and Director of the School of Criminal Justice at Nova Southeastern University. A retired NYPD Lieutenant (20-year service), her assignments included patrol in Brooklyn Housing Projects, Anti Crime Undercover Unit, Commanding Officer of NYC Police Academy's Behavioral Science Department, and Interagency Coordinator for 9/11 Family Assistance Center mental health services.

Her research examines domestic violence, PTSD in police, and Sociodrama as an educational methodology. Post-Hurricane Katrina, she deployed with the U.S. DHHS SAMHSA Disaster Technical Assistance Team. She advises the Sociodrama Club: Stage for Change and Alpha Phi Sigma/Omega Tau Chapter.
