Gozde Tutuncuoglu

Gozde Tutuncuoglu is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Wayne State University. She previously worked as a researcher at Microsoft Quantum Labs in Delft, Netherlands, focusing on topological qubit devices, and as a postdoctoral researcher at Georgia Institute of Technology, where she studied thermoelectric properties of Si nanowires and device reliability.

• Education: Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from EPFL, Switzerland (dissertation: 'The Growth and Optoelectronic Properties of III-V Nanostructures' under Prof. Anna Fontcuberta i Morral).

Research Interests: Her work bridges Nanoelectronics with Novel Computing Devices, including neuromorphic and quantum computing. She explores semiconductor nanowire fabrication, thermal transport in nanostructures, and memristor reliability for next-generation electronics.

Publications: Her recent studies focus on Si nanowires, memristors, and plasmonic nanowire lasers, with an emphasis on scalability and device-to-device variation. These align with her projects on semiconductor reliability and neuromorphic circuit design.
